Dragon Mile

The Dragon Mile is one of the highlights of the Bendigo Easter Festival, a celebration of Bendigo’s Chinese heritage. The mile-long dragon procession is a spectacular sight, with hundreds of participants carrying the massive dragon through the streets. The procession is led by Bendigo’s own Dai Gum Loong, the world’s longest Imperial Dragon, and features dragon and lion dancers, drummers, and martial artists. The Dragon Mile takes place on the Saturday of the festival, and is a must-see event for visitors and locals alike.
