The More You Know
The Zinda Festival in Bendigo was a vibrant celebration of multicultural music, food, and art, showcasing the diverse cultures that enrich the community. Held in October 2023, the festival attracted thousands of participants, making it the largest multicultural event in Bendigo. It featured Punjabi folk dance by the Bendigo Gidha Group, Bamboo Dance by Karen Organisation Bendigo, and other cultural performances. The festival also hosted a T-shirt design competition, encouraging youth to express their creativity. The winning design would be featured on the 2024 Zinda T-shirt, along with a $120 gift card for the designer.
