The More You Know
Despite the rainy weather, the cast of Bendigo's Passion Play: The Way of the Cross pushed through to bring an unforgettable Good Friday evening to the audience. The live, outdoor theatrical presentation told the story of the Last Supper, arrest, trial, crucifixion, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ using drama, music, and specialized lighting. Directed by Julie Love and supported by the Bendigo Easter Fair Society, the City of Greater Bendigo, and Combined Churches of Bendigo, the event drew a huge crowd of over 2,000 people who gathered in Rosalind Park to witness the historical and spiritually significant story. Despite the rain, the performance was a huge success and a testament to the dedication of the actors, production crew, organizers, sponsors, and director. It was a night to remember for all who were present.
